About me
Kathleen Brewer is a teacher-leader at Randolph School and serves as the middle school librarian. She holds a BA from Agnes Scott College and an MAEd from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her career spans a wide range of educational settings, including rural Mississippi, inner-city Cleveland, and suburban Toronto, where she also earned her librarian certification.
After returning to her hometown in 2011, she joined Randolph as a fifth-grade teacher before moving into the library in 2023. In her current role, she has worked to reimagine the library as a vibrant hub for inspiration, collaboration, creativity, and student growth.
Kathleen also co-leads the school’s mentoring program. Across both roles, she is passionate about fostering collegial collaboration, strengthening community, and promoting student agency and engagement.
